It All Depends on Your Point of View
Persona Poems
March 2017
"A persona poem is a poem written in the first person, in which a writer imagines him/herself to be an animal, an object, or a famous person - anyone or anything she or he is not."

We each prepared a 15 line poem, choosing an animal or object for each line, and explained why we made those choices, using first person point of view. We continued to make good use of the resources available to us, relying on our ever-expanding vocabularies and a Thesaurus to replace the word "like", in verb form, with some very interesting synonyms! We hope you enjoy our creative perspectives!
